Why is this Modeling Information Free ?

Today I’m selecting a post concerning an email I received from a young woman who wrote me a delightful letter about why the modeling career information is free. I really smiled when I read this as it made me feel that my photography company was doing something to help young models get started.

Email:

Hi Bob

Just to say, this is very useful information for me.

I am so impressed, I am really wondering why your giving it out for free??

Not that I am complaining, not at all, I am merely expressing my thoughts and appreciation towards the information I am currectly receiving from you.

I promise you will not regret this great investment in my up and coming career in this industry.

Thank you a million times.

Thank you for writing. What a wonderful email!!

I have a few reasons for giving away this model career information..

1. I have been a model photographer for some years and have had many young women tell their stories, asking questions about how to get started in a modeling career or,  how they were dissapointed or even scammed out of money by agencies. So, it was time to put some real information out that people could use to get started in the modeling industry.

The other reason for the modeling tips website is not all altruistic.

2. I do have models hire me to create their portfolios so the site is not only for giving out information so I do receive photography assignments, especially from models in my area.

So, you see Hlengiwe, there is no better way to make a living than by helping others to make their dreams come true!!  d:-)
